The Terre Haute Casino Resort Foundation has announced its intention to donate approximately $95 million to support a new school development plan in Vigo County. This substantial funding offer is contingent upon the county agreeing to make a matching investment by the end of 2026.
Officials from the casino foundation emphasized their strong backing for building a new high school east of the Wabash River, viewing this as a vital element in the county’s long-term educational strategy. They believe that such an institution will play a crucial role in enhancing the community’s future.

School Consolidation and Modernization Plans
