Louis M. Jacobs Named Chair of AGA Board

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has announced that Louis “Lou” M. Jacobs will take over as chair of its board of directors starting January 2026. He succeeds Michael Rumbolz in this leadership role.

Experienced Gaming and Hospitality Leader to Head AGA

Jacobs, currently the CEO of Delaware North, brings a wealth of experience in the gaming industry to the AGA. Under his leadership, Delaware North thrives as a family-focused hospitality and entertainment company, continuously growing its presence in casinos, sports betting, and online gaming.

Beyond his corporate role, Jacobs is actively involved in community service. He is leading a capital campaign for FeedMore WNY, a charity devoted to fighting hunger in Western New York.

The AGA also recognized Michael Rumbolz for his valuable contributions, including supporting major policy initiatives at both state and federal levels, enhancing responsible gaming efforts, and combating illegal gambling operations during his tenure.

Jacobs Expresses Enthusiasm for New Role

Upon his appointment, Jacobs expressed his honor and excitement to join the AGA during this vibrant period. He looks forward to continuing the association’s achievements and collaborating closely with its leadership team.

“I look forward to building on AGA’s success and working with CEO Bill Miller and the Board to ensure legal gaming remains a strong economic engine for communities across the country,” Jacobs stated.
