Changes in Leadership at Hacksaw Gaming

Leadership Transition at Hacksaw Gaming
Hacksaw Gaming’s Board of Directors has announced the departure of Christoffer Källberg from his role as Group CEO. Ana Vrabic Verdir, a current board member, has been appointed as the interim CEO while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.
Reason for the Change and Continuity of Operations
The board determined that a leadership change is necessary to better align with the company’s strategic goals. Despite this transition, Hacksaw’s overall strategy remains consistent, and the board remains confident in the company’s ongoing performance and future prospects. Operations across all subsidiaries will continue without disruption, supported by a strong team based in Sweden.
Interim CEO and Search for New Leader
Upon Verdir’s appointment as interim CEO, the board initiated an extensive search, facilitated by a top executive search firm, to find a permanent Group CEO. The ideal candidate will possess the experience and leadership skills to drive Hacksaw’s long-term vision. While serving as interim CEO, Verdir will not be considered independent of the company’s management and will resign from the Remuneration Committee during this period.
Tribute to Former CEO Christoffer Källberg
Patrick Svensk, chairman of the board, expressed gratitude to Källberg for successfully leading Hacksaw through its IPO on Nasdaq Stockholm’s large-cap list last June. He acknowledged Källberg’s contributions to the company’s strong financial results and wished him success in his future endeavors.
