How She Found Her Partners
The woman, known by the initials J.C., reportedly met her husbands through social media platforms. Without delay, she asked these men to marry her, often presenting urgent financial needs as the reason. Specifically, she claimed she needed money to support a sick relative living abroad.
After each wedding ceremony, J.C. requested large sums from her new spouses. Once she acquired the funds, she cut off contact and disappeared. Some of these men later annulled their marriages, while others remained legally tied to her without their knowledge.
Authorities have revealed that J.C. secured 14 marriage licenses in Clark County between the years 2019 and 2025. Intriguingly, seven of these were obtained after her initial arrest in 2024, during which she used an alias.
Legal Consequences
J.C. has admitted guilt to charges including bigamy and obtaining money through false pretenses involving amounts over $100,000. Her official sentencing is scheduled for August 20, 2026. The plea deal she accepted permits the victims to pursue restitution for their financial losses.
