Kambi to Power Canada’s Multi-Province Sportsbook Solution

Kambi Selected to Provide Sportsbook Technology Across Seven Canadian Provinces
Kambi, a renowned provider of sports betting platforms, has been chosen as the official sportsbook technology supplier for a nationwide multi-province sports betting initiative in Canada.
Partnership with Provincial Lottery Corporations
Kambi will collaborate with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to supply sportsbook solutions covering seven provinces. These include Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador under the ALC, along with British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba managed by the BCLC.
A Unified and Scalable Sportsbook Platform
This selection follows a joint Request for Proposal led by the ALC seeking a single, scalable sportsbook supplier capable of serving multiple provincial operators. Kambi was chosen for its ability to deliver a high-performance, consistent player experience through its multi-channel Turnkey Sportsbook platform. This system provides a shared foundation for sportsbook technology and trading, while allowing each provincial operator to run the service within their respective jurisdiction.
Comprehensive Sportsbook Solution
Kambi’s platform integrates cutting-edge technology with premium sports trading expertise and robust risk management. It supports both digital and land-based sports betting channels and adheres to all relevant local regulations, ensuring compliance across diverse markets.
Leadership Comments on the Collaboration
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, highlighted the significance of this achievement and regarded it as a strong affirmation of the company’s technology and experience. He noted the clear vision set by ALC and BCLC for a unified sportsbook and expressed pride in supporting its implementation with Kambi’s proven, compliant platform.
Scott Eagles, director of sports betting for the Atlantic Lottery, emphasized that partnering with Kambi enables provincial lotteries to offer a consistent and high-quality betting experience across multiple channels. He pointed out that this collaboration also enhances the integrity and reliability of the betting products available to Canadian players.
Looking Forward
Earlier in the year, Kambi shared its 2025 Sports Betting Trends Report, where it highlighted the rising importance of artificial intelligence as a core component of its sportsbook services and future development.
