Company raises $15K for K9 association

A local company has raised more than $15,000 for the Police K9 Association following the death of a Canton police K9 but one kind customer is making the fundraising even more special.

Liberty Tactical Equipment created memorial t-shirt after K9 Jethro was shot and killed in the line of duty.

Enough people ordered that they were able to raise more than $15,000.

To make it even more special, a customer heard what the company was doing and decided to do his part to help.

He gave the company a check, paying in advance for the donation of a K9 vest.
