Wynn Al Marjan Island Reaches Major Construction Milestones

Significant Progress in Construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Resorts has announced that the construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island is advancing rapidly, marking a crucial phase in the development of what is set to be the Middle East’s largest casino resort. With an investment estimated between $3.9 billion and $5.1 billion, this ambitious project represents a bold move for Wynn in the region.
New Bridge to Enhance Accessibility
The resort, located off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah, aims to welcome guests by spring 2027 as the first licensed commercial gambling destination in the United Arab Emirates. Wynn anticipates this site will elevate luxury tourism and secure a competitive edge in the growing market.
A key infrastructure component, the Wynn Bridge, is now 48% complete and on track to open by the end of 2026. This 548-meter bridge will provide a direct link from the resort to nearby beach areas and connect with major UAE highways, serving as a vital thoroughfare between Dubai and the Northern Emirates and improving access for both local and international visitors.
Extending 548 meters, Wynn Bridge will connect Wynn Al Marjan Island via Wynn Boulevard to the E311 and E611 highways.

The Resort’s Iconic Tower Takes Form
Construction on the resort’s signature tower reached a milestone in December 2025 when it topped out at 299 meters. The building’s structural concrete has now reached the 71st floor, and work on the steel roof crown is progressing well. The installation of façade panels is nearly complete, with over 80% finished, giving the tower its distinctive and recognizable look.
Interior and Accommodation Development Advancing Swiftly
All 1,530 guest rooms, including suites, townhouses, Marina Estates, and Royal Apartments, have completed structural work. Interior work focused on mechanical, electrical, and finishing details is moving ahead smoothly. Meanwhile, low-rise buildings throughout the resort are largely finished, and critical building systems are in place to support final touches.
Wynn is also preparing for the resort’s long-term operations by developing Oasis: A Wynn Community, a 26-acre residential area set to house more than 7,000 employees. Located a short distance from the resort, this community is expected to be ready by summer 2026, signaling Wynn’s commitment to establishing a reliable workforce ahead of the resort’s opening.
Comprehensive Amenities Beyond Gaming
Covering over 60 hectares, Wynn Al Marjan Island will offer a diverse range of attractions beyond its casino floors. The resort will feature over 20 dining and nightlife spots, a beach club, luxury retail stores, a flagship spa, a theater, ample meeting and event spaces, twelve pools, a private marina, and a 420-meter beachfront. These amenities are designed to create a well-rounded luxury destination for visitors.
