The Rise of Livestreaming in iGaming

Livestreaming is playing an increasingly influential role in the rapid growth of the iGaming industry. A recent analysis shows that Stake has firmly established itself as the leading brand within this space.

Explosive Growth in iGaming Interest

Data published in March reveals a remarkable surge in global interest for iGaming, with search demand soaring eight times higher from 2023 to 2026. This surge is largely driven by livestreaming, since audiences already engaged with sports, esports, and other competitive events naturally gravitate towards betting content.

Stake’s presence is particularly dominant. In January 2026 alone, the brand was mentioned in approximately 6,600 stream titles across popular platforms Twitch and Kick, representing about 60% of all iGaming-related streaming mentions. Competitors lag significantly behind, with 1xBet appearing in 1,800 titles, Betano in 837, and Winamax in 653, while all other brands combined accounted for only 4,400 mentions.

Kick’s Streamers Fuel Stake’s Prominence

Stake’s leadership can be partly attributed to its strong alignment with Kick, a streaming platform tailored for gambling content. Unlike Twitch, which has restricted streams tied to unregulated betting sites, Kick has become a hub for gambling streamers, many of whom have direct partnerships with Stake, boosting the brand’s visibility in stream titles.

In terms of engagement, January 2026 saw the top 10 iGaming streamers on Kick accumulate a total of 88.4 million watched hours. Top streamers include Trainwreckstv with 15.6 million hours, Classybeef with 13.9 million, and Roshtein with 12.6 million, together drawing over 42 million hours in just one month.

Other Betting Platforms and Broader Audience Engagement

Beyond Stake and Kick, other betting-related services are gaining traction. Prediction market platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi lead US chat discussions with 12,000 and 11,700 mentions respectively, surpassing bigger sportsbooks such as FanDuel which recorded 8,800 mentions, and PrizePicks with 5,300.

Betting content also thrives outside Kick, with YouTube channels like Stokastic DFS attracting 742,000 watch hours, and Barstool’s network of channels adding tens of thousands more viewing hours, illustrating a broad and diverse audience for iGaming streaming content.
