Three Women Accuse Rapper Sky Balla of Sexual Assault in Las Vegas Case

Allegations Against Rapper Sky Balla in Las Vegas
Sky Nathan Branklyn, a rapper from the Bay Area professionally known as Sky Balla, faces serious charges related to two counts of sexual assault at a Las Vegas resort. Reports state that two women have come forward describing violent sexual assaults that allegedly occurred during encounters with him. The incidents reportedly took place at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas.
Details of the Assault at Aria Resort
The accused, who is 45 years old, was taken into custody in Las Vegas in 2021 after a woman reported an attack following a meeting at the High Limit Lounge inside the Aria Resort. She recounted that she met a man identifying himself only as “Sky” at a casino bar where they shared multiple shots of alcohol. She subsequently lost consciousness and, upon trying to resist further advances, was assaulted, resulting in repeated loss of consciousness.
After regaining consciousness, the woman found the man attempting additional sexual acts despite her protests. Upon further resistance, he reportedly hit her until she lost consciousness again. She managed to crawl to a bathroom and stayed hidden in darkness for a couple of hours before requesting to leave, after which the man arranged an Uber for her.
Investigators found a significant amount of blood in the hotel room connected to the incident, which housekeeping staff identified as a potential biohazard. While hotel security initially presumed the stains were spilled wine and authorized cleaning, several housekeepers challenged this, insisting the stains were indeed blood and that bloody towels had been discarded.
Additional Victims Come Forward
Further allegations suggest Sky Balla has a history of violence dating back to 2008. One woman recalled an incident where he deceitfully offered her a ride but instead took her to an apartment complex, where she was assaulted, bitten, and physically harmed. She managed to call for help and later revealed that the rapper took a plea deal in that case, preventing her from testifying.
Another woman, who was only 17 at the time, accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2008 after he visited her home while her parents were away. She described how he inappropriately tried to restrain her before she escaped and contacted emergency services.
These testimonies are expected to be central to the upcoming jury trial scheduled for February 9, which will consider the full scope of the allegations against Sky Balla.
