Tan Sin Heng Daniel Appointed as CEO of Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority

New Leadership at Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority
Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) has announced the appointment of Tan Sin Heng Daniel as its new Chief Executive Officer. This leadership change follows the decision of the current CEO, Teo Chun Ching, to step down after an impactful tenure. Tan Sin Heng Daniel is expected to guide the authority as it continues to oversee and regulate gambling activities across the nation.
Transition from Teo Chun Ching to Tan Sin Heng Daniel
Teo Chun Ching is set to leave his position as CEO in June, marking the conclusion of eight years with the GRA. During his leadership, the authority expanded its responsibilities from regulating casinos alone to managing all forms of gambling within Singapore. The Ministry of Home Affairs expressed gratitude for Teo’s dedicated service and his role in modernizing the country’s gaming industry. Alongside this transition, the Ministry recently appointed Wee Teck as the new chair of the GRA, strengthening the organization’s leadership team.

In this capacity, he led significant reforms aimed at enhancing road safety, including updates to the demerit points system and adjustments to speed limits for heavy vehicles. These initiatives contributed to reducing traffic incidents.
