Super Technologies: Embracing a New Identity

Superbet has redefined its brand, adopting the name Super Technologies to embody its expanded vision for global growth. This updated identity highlights the Bucharest-based company’s evolution from a traditional betting operator into a diversified technology enterprise with international aspirations.

Transformation and Expanding Horizons

Moving forward, the company will use the abbreviated name “Super” to emphasize its growing focus on innovative in-house platforms, product development, and digital advancements. Despite this shift, the Superbet brand will continue to serve consumer markets where it is already well established and enjoys strong brand recognition.

While maintaining its leadership position in Romania, Super Technologies has broadened its international presence by entering markets such as Poland, Serbia, and Brazil. The firm also strengthened its foothold in Belgium following its acquisition of Napoleon Sports & Casino in 2021. Leadership has stressed that further global expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, remains a key strategic objective.

The new brand identity reflects years of development, especially the rapid growth of its technology division. Super Technologies now operates primarily on proprietary solutions that power its business-to-consumer services, supported by a growing network of innovation hubs. Recent additions in Madrid and Amsterdam complement established teams in Romania and Croatia, enabling a broader technological footprint.

A Promising Outlook for Innovation and Leadership

The rebranding also highlights the company’s successful track record in sports betting and gaming. It has launched a variety of in-house offerings such as SuperCoins, a customer loyalty program; SuperSocial, a community engagement platform; and SuperSub, a prediction and rewards tool that has gained popularity in emerging markets.

Leadership changes accompany this new chapter. Founder Sacha Dragic, who returned last year as co-CEO alongside Jimmy Maymann, is set to become the sole CEO by January. This transition follows a significant €1.3 billion refinancing deal with Blackstone in February, which has strengthened the company’s financial resources for growth and innovation.

“Our brand encapsulates both our roots and our ambition. We aim to build a globally leading play-technology platform that drives the next generation of immersive entertainment ecosystems,” said Sacha Dragic, Super Technologies founder.

Closing a transformative year, Super Technologies broke into the EGR Power 50 top 10 for the first time and reaffirmed its commitment to Brazil’s newly legalized gaming sector. With fresh capital, an expanded technology presence, and a forward-thinking brand, Super is boldly advancing into the evolving technology landscape that surrounds its core gaming business.
