Introduction to the Expansion

Last week, Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of its newly expanded resort. Previously recognized simply as Snoqualmie Casino, the property underwent a rebranding in November 2024 and is nestled in the scenic foothills just minutes away from Seattle.

New Amenities and Features

The transformation includes a striking hotel tower, a comprehensive full-service spa, indoor and outdoor pool decks, a 24/7 drip coffee bar, and an energetic sports bar. These additions provide visitors with a luxurious and entertaining environment.

Job Creation and Construction

The construction began in 2022 after plans had been in the works for over ten years. This project generated approximately 500 jobs in construction and resort operations, benefiting both tribe members and the local community.

Launching a New Era

Mary Lou Patterson, the Chief Executive Officer, described the grand opening as the start of a new era, bringing luxury, relaxation, and excitement to the Snoqualmie Valley. She referred to the $400 million development as an unforgettable achievement for the team, the Snoqualmie Tribe, and the local community, emphasizing that this is only the beginning.

Grand Opening Ceremony and Guest Experience

The festivities commenced with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at the hotel entrance, attended by Tribal leaders, casino executives, and special guests. Throughout the day, visitors explored the resort’s latest features, including the Luxury Hotel Tower, which offers spectacular views of the Cascade Mountains and Snoqualmie Valley.

The MoonRise Spa provided a peaceful retreat with a full menu of signature treatments. Guests also enjoyed the expanded Drip Coffee Bar, now featuring a second location serving artisan drinks and snacks. The evening concluded with an innovative drone light show lighting up the Snoqualmie Valley night sky.

Gaming and Entertainment Highlights

The resort is conveniently located just 30 minutes from major sports venues and combines stunning valley landscapes with premier gaming and entertainment options. It features Washington’s first sportsbook, more than 2,000 advanced slot machines, 58 table games such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, as well as private high-limit rooms.

The expansion also introduced a larger non-smoking gaming area and a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the new Hawks Peak Sports Bar, equipped with 66 large screens, unique sports memorabilia, and a menu of upscale pub food.
