The Responsible Online Gaming Association (ROGA), which represents the majority of the legal sports betting market in the United States, has announced LexisNexis Risk Solutions as its official data clearinghouse partner. This collaboration aims to support ROGA’s mission of promoting responsible gaming practices across the industry.
Leveraging a Trusted Data Security and Analytics Provider
ROGA chose LexisNexis Risk Solutions due to the company’s well-established reputation for maintaining robust data security, protecting privacy, and providing a standardized and secure process for managing data and analytics. This partnership will enable ROGA to utilize the clearinghouse to strengthen consumer protections and reinforce responsible gaming initiatives throughout the sector.
Commitment to Responsible Gaming
Sean Britt, Senior Director at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the firm’s dedication to safeguarding sensitive data. He emphasized that their stewardship of confidential information aligns with supporting ROGA’s efforts to promote responsible gaming standards throughout the industry.
ROGA’s Executive Director, Dr. Jennifer Shatley, also acknowledged the importance of the partnership, explaining that the clearinghouse will help expand the reach of player self-exclusion programs. When a player opts to self-exclude through an operator’s platform, their exclusion will be enforced across all ROGA member sites, providing a critical support mechanism for individuals seeking breaks from online gaming.
