Resorts World Las Vegas Denies Complimentary Drink to High-Stakes Streamer

Well-known gambling streamer Xposed, who regularly places high-stakes bets worth thousands per hand, recently faced an unexpected refusal at Resorts World Las Vegas. Despite his significant wagers, the casino declined to provide a complimentary smoothie during his visit.

Incident at the Blackjack Table

During a live stream, Xposed was seen playing blackjack with two hands at $25,000 each. He ordered orange juice and water, while a companion requested a banana and strawberry smoothie. However, the server asked if the companion had a hotel room at Resorts World. Upon learning they did not, the server declined to provide the smoothie as a complimentary item. Xposed challenged the decision, emphasizing the substantial sums they were betting and insisting the casino should offer complimentary drinks. The server responded by indicating a Senior Manager would be called to address the issue. The interaction ended shortly after, with Xposed’s friend expressing surprise at the situation. Later that night, Xposed was also seen placing $50,000 bets on baccarat at the same casino. Earlier in the day, he had shared on social media that he was “down 2.5 million chasing” his bets at Resorts World.

Resorts World’s Recent Financial Struggles

Resorts World has endured a difficult period financially. Recent reports revealed significant losses over the past year, prompting urgent measures to boost visitor numbers. One such initiative includes waiving all resort fees on stays booked until September 11, 2025. The resort experienced a 22% decline in revenue year-over-year and a dramatic 75% drop in earnings during the first quarter of this year, resulting in a loss of $48 million compared to the previous year.

Impact on Reputation Among Gamblers

Beyond financial challenges, the resort has faced criticism from Las Vegas gamblers regarding its treatment of high-stakes players. Many believe the incident involving Xposed reflects ongoing issues with customer relations and has contributed to a diminishing reputation.
