Authorities intend to call Krishna Deokaran, owner of Eclipse Social Club and another figure involved in the case, to testify that he handed over casino earnings to Robin Severance-Lopez during a covert meeting in a parking lot more than two years ago.

Robin Severance-Lopez was charged earlier this summer with conspiracy to move or invest racketeering-related funds. She was initially released under GPS monitoring, which was later lifted by a judge. However, she was recently taken back into custody after new evidence surfaced linking her more directly to the gambling scheme.
According to court reports, Krishna Deokaran told officials that when he opened his gambling venue in 2022, he invited both Marcos Lopez and Severance-Lopez to collaborate. He further stated that he handed an envelope containing casino profits to Severance-Lopez in the sheriff’s office parking lot, saying the money was intended for Marcos. She accepted the envelope silently.
Defense Rejects the Claims
