The victorious ticket was part of the \$10 scratch-off game called the $1,000,000 Spectacular. The winner claimed one of the game’s four available top prizes of $1 million. This particular ticket was purchased at Lucky 7 Deli, located at 408 Route 70 in Lakehurst.
At the time of this win, three $1 million prizes remain unclaimed from the game. The $1,000,000 Spectacular tickets were introduced on November 5, and the winning ticket was bought relatively soon after, on November 17.
Besides the top prizes, the game includes 32 prizes worth $10,000, with only one of those awarded so far — interestingly, that prize was won on the same day as the big $1 million jackpot. The game offers additional smaller prizes ranging from $20 to $2,000.
