New Leadership Appointment at Light & Wonder

Light & Wonder, Inc. has strengthened its senior leadership by appointing Rohan Gallagher as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. Based in Sydney, Gallagher will be responsible for overseeing investor relations, environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, corporate social responsibility, and international communications. This newly created role aims to support Light & Wonder’s strategic engagement during a key phase of transformation.

Rohan Gallagher’s Extensive Industry Experience

The announcement coincides with Light & Wonder’s move to a primary listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). Chief Financial Officer Oliver Chow highlighted Gallagher’s appointment as pivotal for enhancing the company’s presence both domestically and internationally. Chow emphasized Gallagher’s extensive experience, affirming the value he brings with his expertise and knowledge.

“I have collaborated with Rohan over many years in various roles, and his insight into the gaming industry and its success factors is unmatched.”

Gallagher previously held senior roles at Aristocrat, where he managed investor relations and treasury functions. He expressed that joining Light & Wonder at this moment aligns perfectly with the company’s ambitions to expand globally. Gallagher views his role as a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the company’s sustained growth.

“I look forward to elevating Light & Wonder’s presence, fostering stronger community connections, and driving impactful initiatives that support the company’s next phase of growth.”

With over 20 years of experience in finance, Gallagher’s background includes senior positions in equities research, corporate broking, and investor relations. Before joining, he served as Managing Director at Jarden Group’s Institutional Equities division, where he led sales, research, and corporate advisory services.

Light & Wonder’s Continued Growth and Market Expansion

This leadership addition comes during an active period for the company. Recently, Light & Wonder received accreditation from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), enabling it to launch its iGaming platform in the Philippines — its first regulated market in Asia and the 47th worldwide.

In another strategic move, the company secured licensing in the United Arab Emirates, becoming one of the first B2B providers authorized to offer land-based electronic gaming machines, table games, and digital casino content. This license marks a major step for reaching new audiences while emphasizing compliance and responsible gaming.

With Rohan Gallagher joining the leadership, Light & Wonder aims to sharpen its communication with stakeholders as it prepares for further expansion into global regulated markets. His role reinforces the company’s commitment to transparency, investor confidence, and long-term value creation.
