Introducing Skill Games to the Cornhusker State

The gaming industry is witnessing a notable shift with the rise of skill-based games, providing a fresh alternative to traditional slot machines. A recent collaboration between Light & Wonder and Betson Enterprises highlights this trend as they join forces to bring six skill games exclusively to Nebraska players.

A New Market Opportunity for Both Companies

This partnership marks an important expansion for Light & Wonder, enabling the company to introduce popular skill game titles such as Gold Fish Feeding Time, Treasure, Bier Haus, Lock It Up, Dragon Fire, and Zeus to Nebraska’s gaming scene.

Brian Pierce, Chief Commercial Officer of Gaming at Light & Wonder, expressed enthusiasm about entering the Nebraska market: “We are excited to introduce our engaging games to players in the Cornhusker State. Partnering with Betson Enterprises allows us to expand into new territories and offer innovative gaming experiences to a fresh audience.”

Continuing a Successful Collaboration

These games will be featured on Light & Wonder’s Kascada dual-screen cabinet, further enhancing the player experience. This Nebraska launch represents the fourth joint market effort between Light & Wonder and Betson Enterprises, following previous successful entries in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Illinois.

Enhancing Nebraska’s Gaming Landscape

Todd Cravens, President of Betson Gaming, shared his optimism about the partnership: “We take pride in representing Light & Wonder across multiple states and are eager to bring our sales expertise, efficient service, and data-driven strategies to the Nebraska market.”

Notably, Light & Wonder’s skill games have avoided legal complications, positioning this segment as a promising and stable source of future revenue in the gaming industry.
