This initiative mirrors the reward systems traditionally seen in established sportsbooks designed to recognize and incentivize big bettors.
The Launch of Kalshi’s Platinum Program
Diana explained that Kalshi is following trends observed in financial markets, brokerage firms, and major consumer brands by introducing a loyalty program aimed at providing exclusive benefits to their most dedicated clients. Early details of this program surfaced through a social media post on X, where a user identified as CSPTrading.eth shared an invitation letter he received to join the newly formed Platinum tier. Interestingly, this invitation seems very selective as some of the highest trading volume accounts at Kalshi have not received similar offers.
This move aligns Kalshi with other operators who have recently created VIP programs. For instance, DraftKings, which entered the prediction markets space recently, has rolled out a VIP system for its traders as part of a broader framework that also includes their sports betting and casino customers.
Beyond introducing VIP tiers, DraftKings is actively expanding its footprint in prediction markets. Notably, it established a research group late last year aimed at enhancing the understanding of forecasting methodologies through market data analysis.
Benefits Offered by Kalshi’s Platinum Program
Kalshi’s new Platinum program arrives at a time when there’s growing interest in broadening the scope of prediction markets beyond sports, which many see as critical for the sector’s future growth. The invitation letter sent to CSPTrading.eth revealed that Kalshi had spent months developing strategies to reward their most loyal users based on extensive feedback from both customers and business partners.
The Platinum program is currently offered to a small, handpicked group of users, which explains why only selective traders like CSPTrading.eth have been invited so far.
Members of the Platinum program enjoy having a personal account manager available from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM Eastern Time. Support is accessible through email or text, ensuring prompt assistance as needed. In addition to personalized service, participants receive exclusive Kalshi merchandise and special gifts. The program also includes invitations to curated dinners, tickets to local events, and rewards for referring new users.
Kalshi has indicated that these benefits represent just the beginning of its Platinum program, with plans to introduce more perks as the initiative evolves.
