Incentive Games Secures Ontario License to Expand Market Reach

Incentive Games, a prominent developer of iGaming software, has obtained a regulatory license to operate in Ontario. This new certification enables the company to introduce its innovative gaming products to operators within the province, marking a major step forward for its business growth in Canada.

License Granted by Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

The license was issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), allowing Incentive Games to launch its offerings in a thriving online gaming market immediately. Ontario is recognized as one of North America’s largest iGaming hubs, presenting the company with numerous prospects to collaborate with local operators.

Gaining access to Ontario’s regulated market not only amplifies growth possibilities but also underlines Incentive Games’ dedication to compliance and promoting responsible gambling. The province enforces stringent guidelines that govern providers and operators, ensuring a safe and fair gaming environment.

Local partners in Ontario can integrate Incentive Games’ advanced content through its real-money gaming platform, Incentive Studios, thus enhancing their gaming suites with high-quality products.

Commitment to Compliance and Excellence Confirmed by CEO

John Gordon, CEO of Incentive Games, expressed enthusiasm about entering Ontario’s regulated market, describing it as a significant opportunity. He emphasized the company’s pride in receiving the AGCO license, which validates their commitment to upholding rigorous industry standards.

According to Gordon, the license strengthens their pledge to deliver premium real-money gaming content responsibly. He also highlighted the company’s intent to forge strong partnerships in Ontario and maintain growth momentum in other regulated markets globally.

Earlier, Incentive Games obtained a provisional license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, expanding its footprint in the United States. These achievements reflect the company’s strategic focus on the North American market as a critical component of its long-term objectives.

Ontario’s iGaming Market Faces Seasonal Dip

Recently, Ontario reported its iGaming performance for May, showing a typical seasonal slowdown. The total wagers declined by 10%, amounting to CAD 7.26 billion, with iGaming revenues dropping 9% to CAD 307 million compared to the previous month.

Despite the month-over-month decrease, May’s revenue outperformed figures from June of the previous year, although it did not reach the high mark recorded in May 2024, when wagering was CAD 8.07 billion. This seasonal variance is common as the summer months often experience reduced player activity.
