IBIA Introduces a Comprehensive Five-Year Plan

The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has announced a transformative five-year initiative aimed at elevating standards within the sports betting industry. This ambitious program, named Mission 2030, coincides with the association’s celebration of its 20th anniversary and is marked by the unveiling of a refreshed brand identity.

Core Goals of Mission 2030

Mission 2030 outlines the IBIA’s commitment to safeguarding the sports sector from fraud and adverse influences by focusing on three main objectives:

First, enhancing the Global Monitoring & Alert Platform (Global MAP) to better detect suspicious betting behaviors and support investigations. Second, broadening partnerships across the international sports integrity community to foster stronger collaboration. Third, advancing regulatory frameworks, refining league policies, and improving education for athletes to proactively prevent integrity issues.

Strategic Vision and Future Outlook

This strategic plan serves as a flexible roadmap, enabling the IBIA to adapt to emerging trends such as cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, esports, and market expansions. Khalid Ali, the IBIA’s Chief Executive Officer, reflected on the landmark anniversary by emphasizing the organization’s dedication to continuous growth and adaptation in the evolving landscape.

He stated that the new strategy will help the IBIA provide exceptional integrity services to its members, strengthen partnerships, and effectively navigate the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry.

Revamped Brand Identity to Reflect Values and Mission

Alongside its strategic initiatives, the IBIA has also refreshed its visual brand to celebrate two decades of operation. This update includes a modernized logo and a redesigned website that encapsulate the organization’s commitment to ongoing progress.

The logo features six interlocking components symbolizing the key stakeholders responsible for maintaining sports integrity: operators, sports bodies, regulators, law enforcement, athletes, and institutions. The newly adopted motto, “Safeguarding Sports Betting,” succinctly communicates the IBIA’s core purpose.

CEO Khalid Ali highlighted that the revamped brand identity is more than aesthetics—it is a foundational element of the Mission 2030 vision and a testament to the IBIA’s dedication to protecting integrity within sports betting.
