Hard Rock Atlantic City Unveils $50 Million Renovation and Expansion Plans

Extensive Room Renovations Planned at Hard Rock Atlantic City
Hard Rock Atlantic City has announced an ambitious renovation project aimed at enhancing its hospitality services. The upgrade will focus on refurbishing approximately 700 guest rooms, including 60 suites and 8 penthouse units located in the North Tower. Additionally, the project will revamp various hallways and corridors, including the installation of new carpeting on the casino floor and the second-floor passageways.
Investment to Enhance Guest Experience and Expand Dining Options
The $50 million renovation reflects Hard Rock’s dedication to providing innovative and high-quality experiences for its guests less than ten years after the property’s initial construction. Alongside the room upgrades, the resort plans to introduce new dining venues, featuring Sitar, a modern Indian cuisine restaurant, and a Federal Donuts and Chicken outlet, aiming to offer diverse culinary choices to visitors. The completion of these enhancements is targeted for the end of 2026.
Company’s Commitment to Excellence and Community Engagement
George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Atlantic City, emphasized that this extensive refurbishment demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to reinvesting in both the resort and the local community. He highlighted that the improvements, ranging from redesigned suites to novel dining experiences and enhanced entertainment, align with the company’s core philosophy to “Love All, Serve All” while delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Hard Rock’s Expansion into Puerto Rico
In a separate development, Hard Rock is also planning to establish a new casino resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The $850 million project, set to begin construction in mid-2026, is a joint venture with Misla Hospitality, Stonecrest Investment Management, and The Interfin Companies. Designed by Klai Juba Wald and CMA Architects, the resort will feature a hotel, casino, and entertainment facilities that aim to capture the spirit of the region and promote tourism.
Puerto Rico’s Governor Jenniffer González-Colón expressed that the new Hard Rock property will enhance the island’s status as a premier Caribbean destination for tourism, residence, and international investment, while also generating jobs and boosting the local economy.
