Update on Legal Challenge Involving FanDuel
Meanwhile, Flutter’s FanDuel brand recently saw a development in ongoing litigation in California concerning its daily fantasy sports activities. The lawsuit claimed that these contests violated various state laws including California’s Unfair Competition Law, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and criminal statutes.
However, the plaintiff has decided to withdraw the case for now, though it remains uncertain if this resolution will be permanent.
