Woman Leaves Dog Behind at Airport in a Rush to Catch Flight

Several months ago, a woman named Germiran Denae Nicole Bryson was involved in an incident at a Las Vegas airport where she abandoned her two-year-old Goldendoodle mix dog. In an attempt to board her flight quickly, she left her pet tied up at the JetBlue ticket counter without completing the necessary paperwork to bring the dog along.

Despite her protests, airport authorities located Bryson at the gate and took her into custody. She claimed she was instructed to hurry to the gate and would resolve her ticket issues on the way, promising that she would soon reunite with her pet. She also mentioned her dog was equipped with a tracking chip.

Following questioning by the police, Bryson was arrested on misdemeanor charges but was released without bond. The dog was taken into the care of the Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas and was given the name JetBlue.

Failure to Appear in Court Leads to Bench Warrant

The situation escalated when Bryson failed to appear at her scheduled court hearing. Although her family notified the court, claiming she was hospitalized, they did not submit any medical documentation to support this assertion.

As a result, Justice of the Peace Diana Sullivan authorized a bench warrant with a $5,000 cash or surety bond. This order means that Bryson can be apprehended and brought back to Las Vegas to face the pending charges for her actions at the airport.
