Breeze Airways Announces Two New Domestic Routes from Las Vegas

Reduced Canadian Tourism to Las Vegas in 2025
Las Vegas and the state of Nevada are expected to see fewer Canadian visitors during the summer of 2025. This decline is largely attributed to the controversial policies and public remarks made by former President Donald Trump, along with tariffs that negatively impacted the Canadian economy.
Shift to Domestic Travel Amid Decreased Canadian Traffic
The drop in Canadian tourists has caused concerns about the potential loss of thousands of jobs in the region. In response, Breeze Airways, a budget airline, is focusing more on domestic travelers by introducing two new flight routes from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. These new routes will connect Las Vegas with Provo, Utah, and Redmond, Oregon.
Details and Pricing for the New Routes
The new routes are scheduled to launch in March 2026. Breeze Airways is offering attractive price points to encourage travelers, with fares starting at $39 for flights to Provo and $49 for flights to Redmond. There will also be promotional fares available for bookings made before May 13 as part of the airline’s initial marketing strategy.
Comments from Breeze Airways Leadership
Lukas Johnson, the Chief Commercial Officer of Breeze Airways, expressed enthusiasm about expanding their Las Vegas services. He highlighted the return of the popular Provo route and the introduction of the new Redmond route as exciting developments for the airline.
Transition in Airlines Serving Las Vegas
Breeze Airways is taking over routes formerly operated by Avelo Airlines in Las Vegas. Avelo will continue to operate flights until August 11, 2025, before ceasing its services between Redmond and Las Vegas.
