Bragg Gaming Group, a prominent provider of iGaming content and technology solutions, has revealed significant leadership appointments aimed at boosting its expansion in North America and enhancing its adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across its operations.
Morten Tonnesen Appointed as Chief Operating Officer
On March 3, Bragg Gaming announced the appointment of Morten Tonnesen as its new Chief Operating Officer. Tonnesen brings nearly two decades of leadership experience within the gaming sector and related industries.
In his role as COO, Tonnesen will spearhead the company’s efforts to implement AI-driven transformation initiatives. His responsibilities include integrating AI technologies into Bragg’s product offerings and operational workflows, supporting the company’s strategic goal to become an AI-first business by 2027.
Tonnesen’s background is extensive; prior to joining Bragg, he held key executive roles such as Chief Growth Officer at Xtremepush, Chief Commercial Officer at Shape Games, and spent six years at PokerStars. Additionally, he founded BetWarrior, a gaming company targeting the Latin American market.
Garrick Morris Elevated to Executive Vice President of Global Content for the US and Canada
Bragg Gaming has also promoted Garrick Morris to the position of Executive Vice President of Global Content, focusing on the United States and Canadian markets. This move reflects Bragg’s intensified commitment to its North American growth strategy.
Morris joined Bragg in early 2024 as Senior Vice President of Commercial for North America. He brings experience from roles including COO at Digital Gaming Corporation and positions at Microgaming and Derivco.
The leadership changes underline Bragg’s confidence in the North American market, backed by the company’s recent positive financial performance.
