Better Collective Appoints Thomas Plenborg as Chair of Its Board of Directors

Introduction to the New Chair
Better Collective, a leading digital sports media company, has announced Thomas Plenborg as the new chair of its board of directors following their recent annual general meeting. Plenborg steps into this role after the former chair chose not to stand for re-election.
Transition of Leadership
Thomas Plenborg is already familiar with the company, having been a board member since 2025. He will take over the chair position from Jens Bager, who retired after nearly a decade of service. This change coincides with Better Collective’s ambition to move into a new stage of strategic growth.
Plenborg’s Background and Expertise
Plenborg brings extensive experience to his new role. He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Accounting at Copenhagen Business School. Additionally, he chairs the board of DSV, where he played a key role in expanding the company from a regional firm to a global leader in transport and logistics.
His skills are especially strong in driving shareholder value through effective strategies and mergers and acquisitions.
Board Membership Updates
Alongside Plenborg’s appointment, shareholders have re-elected vice chair Therese Hillman and board members René Efraim Rechtman, Leif Nørgaard, Britt Ingrid Boeskov, and Todd Dunlap.
Plenborg’s Vision for Better Collective
Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him and acknowledging his predecessor’s contributions, Plenborg is eager to collaborate with the management team and fellow board members. His goal is to continue advancing Better Collective’s success for the benefit of customers, partners, employees, and shareholders alike.
“I now look forward to working closely with the management team and my fellow Board members to continue developing Better Collective for the benefit of all our stakeholders, including our customers, partners, employees and shareholders.”
