5FDP Guitarist Zoltan Bathory Lists $28M Las Vegas Castle-Inspired Home for Sale

Living the Dream: Castle Life Meets Las Vegas Excitement
Imagine residing in a grand castle-like mansion while still having access to the vibrant array of casinos nearby. This unique opportunity has emerged as Zoltan Bathory, the guitarist from the metal band Five Finger Death Punch, has put his impressive Las Vegas residence on the market.
About Zoltan Bathory and His Unique Home
Zoltan Bathory is best known as the rhythm guitarist for Five Finger Death Punch, a heavy metal band that originated in Las Vegas in 2005. Over the past two decades, the band has achieved remarkable success with numerous top-charting singles.
The home, known as Rose Manor, showcases Bathory’s penchant for vintage and gothic aesthetics, fitting well with his metal roots. This three-story property is inspired by a 17th-century Scottish castle, complete with authentic stonework imported from Scotland to preserve its historical charm.
When Bathory purchased the manor, he undertook extensive renovations, including opening up some of the originally low ceilings to create a more spacious environment. He also added impressive features such as a 17th-century fireplace, authentic stone gates, a modernized kitchen, and an elevator leading to the rooftop.
The estate also boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a garage with space for four vehicles, and even a private dock on Lake Sahara.
The Creative Journey and Future Plans
Bathory initially acquired this unique property for $3.25 million, motivated by a creative vision after the prior owners declined to allow a video to be filmed there. Following six years of dedicated upgrades and personal touches, the asking price has now risen to $28 million.
While selling such an extraordinary home might seem surprising given the time invested in renovating it, Bathory explained that his true passion lies in the creative process itself. He expressed that designing and building lasting, monumental works is where his artistic excitement truly lies.
Bathory also expressed gratitude to the architect Michael Murphy for his collaboration during the renovations. Looking ahead, the duo is already exploring new castle projects to transform into habitable masterpieces, continuing their artistic journey together.
