Mystics Withstand Surging Storm

(Sports Network) - Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored a game-best 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting, as the Washington Mystics coasted to an 89-57 win over the Seattle Storm.

Monique Currie finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Mystics, who snapped a two-game slide. Alana Beard totaled nine points, nine assists, five steals and four boards, while Crystal Smith added nine points off the bench.

Katie Gearlds poured in 13 points for the Storm, who had a seven-game winning streak snapped. Sue Bird had 11 points, while Camille Little donated 10 points and 12 boards in defeat.
