A Perfect Storm Engulfs Liberty

Seattle, WA -- (Sports Network) - Lauren Jackson poured in a game-high 33 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Seattle Storm bested the New York Liberty, 84-71.

Sue Bird added 23 points for the Storm, who have won two in a row and three of four overall. Swin Cash hauled in 10 boards to go with her eight points.

Shameka Christon gave 19 points for the Liberty, who have alternated wins and losses for the last eight games. Essence Carson chipped in 16 points and Cathrine Kraayeveld 11 in defeat.
