Dream Winless Through First 17

POSTED: 11:00 pm EDT July 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - Sancho Lyttle netted 15 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead the Houston Comets over the Atlanta Dream, 72-65, at Philips Arena.

Michelle Snow added 17 points and eight boards for the Comets, who were without Tina Thompson for the fourth straight outing due to a broken finger.

Betty Lennox tallied 15 points for the Dream, who extended their WNBA-record losing streak to 17 games and are still looking for the first win in franchise history.

The Dream, who never led, got off to a sluggish start, only scoring six points in the first quarter.

For the game, Atlanta shot only 31 percent from the field and turned the ball over 18 times.

Shannon Johnson posted a game-high seven assists for Houston.
