Storm Re-Sign Burse

POSTED: 12:39 am EDT April 15, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Seattle Storm re-signed center Janell Burse on Monday.

Burse started 29 games for Seattle last season, averaging 8.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

"We are very excited to have Janell return," said Storm head coach Brian Agler. "She is one of the more experienced centers in the WNBA, has been a starter for the Storm over the past three seasons and will continue to help our team tremendously."

The Tulane product was taken by Minnesota in the 2001 draft, and came to Seattle in a 2004 trade.
