Paul Kiska

Paul Kiska, an award-winning journalist, joined the NewsChannel5 team as a news reporter June 19, 2000. During his time with NewsChannel5, he has also served as "Good Morning Cleveland" anchor and as weekend anchor for NewsChannel5 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

In June 2006, he was honored with a first-place award from the Cleveland Press Club for a unique demonstration on the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, a news story that a Canton family said saved their lives just one week later.

In June 2005, Paul was honored by the Ohio Associated Press for his reporting on an inspirational story on helping the homeless.

Paul grew up in Lorain and graduated from Lorain Catholic High School.

Paul got his associate's degree from Lorain County Community College and went on to finish his education at the University of Toledo. After doing a little bit of everything at the then ABC station in Toledo, he worked for WSBT the CBS station in South Bend, Ind. in 1993.

During his seven years there, Paul anchored the two-hour morning show and won two first place Awards from the Indiana Associated Press for news reporting.

He fulfilled a lifelong career goal when he returned home to Cleveland to work for NewsChannel5.

Paul and his family love being home in northeast Ohio.
