John Kosich

John Kosich is a national award-winning journalist who can be seen nightly reporting from NewsChopper5 on Live on 5, NewsChannel5 at 6 p.m. and from the field each night at 11 p.m.

Throughout his career, the Philadelphia native has had the opportunity to travel with Pope John Paul II, cover national political conventions and even host a television special one-on-one with Tony Bennett.

John's a graduate of Temple University, whose career has included stops in Missouri, Atlantic City, Scranton and Buffalo (where in 2001 he had the experience of getting hit with 7 feet of snow in five days.)

In 2002 John and his wife Stacey left Buffalo to move to the "less snowy" side of Lake Erie, where they live with their young son.

John joined WEWS-TV in April of 2005.
