Alicia Scicolone

I'm so proud to be back home and working at a top-notch station like NewsChannel5.

Ever since I was about 5 years old I would imitate News Reporters. I can remember sitting in front of the television and pretending I was 'on-air' while all my friends and cousin's would be playing sports outside. That drive never left me as I got older.

The first taste of broadcasting I got was doing the morning announcements in High School at West Geauga in Chesterland. After that, I was hooked.

After college, I was hired by NewsChannel5 in 1995. The first time around, I was behind the scenes learning all I could. After four years, I made my way in front of the camera in Steubenville, Ohio, as a reporter. From Steubenville, I moved to Youngstown where I was an anchor for a morning show on the ABC affiliate.

In 2001, I came back home not only to Cleveland, but to the first home I ever knew in my career.

I'm truly honored to be a part of the NewsChannel5 team, again. This station is like no other when it comes to commitment to a community and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
