Hello Cleveland!I'm thrilled to be part of the NewsChannel 5 family. You can catch my live reports Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m.I'm often out in the field chasing the big story of the night as a general assignment reporter. Here's a little background about my career in the business. My first television job was at KBJR an NBC affiliate in Duluth, Minn. It's a beautiful little city but very cold!
Several months later I made Toledo, Ohio, home at WTVG, an ABC-owned and -operated station. Some of my highlights there included covering President Bush's Innauguration in Washington, D.C. and the Timothy McVeigh exeucution in Terre Haute, Ind.
While I love traveling the country, my real home is Boston.
I attended Boston College but later went on to Syracuse University for my master's degree in communications.
Enough about work, what does a busy reporter do in her spare time?
Well, I am a bookstore junkie at heart. I love reading mystery novels and catching up on the latest entertainment dish in those gossip magazines. I also enjoy watching old movies and dining out with friends. I am also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
One thing many people may not know about me is I am a daredevil at heart. I always appreciate hearing from viewers. Comments and story ideas are welcome.
