NINE-TIME EMMY® AWARD WINNER

Since its return to WEWS in 2003, Academic Challenge has received nine regional Emmy® Awards and 11 Emmy® nominations. Most recently, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Lower Great Lakes Chapter honored Academic Challenge as Best Teen Program/Special at the 40th Annual Emmy® Awards.

Silver Telly Award Winner

Academic Challenge was recently honored with a Silver Telly Award at the 30th Annual Telly Awards. Recognized as an outstanding local program, Academic Challenge competed with nearly 11,000 entries from around the world for this prestigious honor. Less than 10% of this year’s entries received the Silver Telly Award.
