ONTARIO, Ohio -- A Marion County man is accused of groping children, and police fear there may be many victims.

Police said Charles Van Buskirk, 38, touched an 8-year-old girl inside the Target store in Ontario in Richland County.

Officers said he then went next door to a Best Buy store. Surveillance video shows him doing the same thing to another little girl.

This time, an officer was watching the store security as it happened. He forced the man to lie on the ground and arrested him.

Police said they found fishing line, a butcher knife and a stuffed animal in his car.

"So the parents weren't far away in this situation and that makes it a little more scary. And once again, it just shows the brazenness of the crime and the fact that he's confident in what he's doing," said officer Tommy Hill.

Police said they also found child pornography tapes at Buskirk's home.

Police called his actions a "brazen crime against children."

Officers made a point to mention the young hero -- the 8-year-old girl inside Target. When the incident happened she immediately told her parents.
