UPDATED: 8:01 am EST November 26, 2008

Browns quarterback Brady Quinn is reportedly out for the season.

According to a report on Foxsports.com by Jay Glazer, Quinn's fractured index finger has worsened and has started to affect the tendon. He played with the injury during Sunday's game against Houston.

He injured the finger the previous week in the Browns' win against the Bills.

According to the report, doctors have revealed that the team made the decision earlier Tuesday.

Derek Anderson will replace Quinn as starting quarterback, the report said.

NewsChannel5's Andy Baskin reported that the Browns will likely confirm the move Wednesday morning.
