OIL CITY, Penn. - The eastbound lane of Interstate 90 is now open after being closed for several hours from the border of Ohio-Pennsylvania to Exit 3 for West Springfield.
That’s because an “over-height” truck struck a steel beam on the Pond Road overhead bridge.
Inspectors needed time to do a damage assessment before re-opening the eastbound lane.
Pond Road Bridge was also closed.
I-90 eastbound traffic was re-routed to Ohio Route 7 to Route 20 then Route 6N before returning to I-90 at Exit 3.
