CLEVELAND - With the frigid temperatures, windy conditions and additional snow in the forecast, Cleveland Division of Streets will continue to focus on clearing the city's main roads.
They have 47 crews working around the clock to make sure streets are clear. Once the main streets are in fair to good condition, crews will transition into the residential streets while still maintaining the main thoroughfares.
As always, the goal is to have all streets serviced within 24 to 36 hours from when snow stops falling, depending on the actual amount of snowfall.
Residents are urged to take proper precautions to keep themselves safe in the cold weather and while shoveling snow.
City of Cleveland Recreation Centers will be open until 8 p.m. Monday for residents seeking indoor activities and a place to stay out of the cold.
Residents with snow removal concerns should call 216-664-2510.
