3:51 p.m.

3:41 p.m.

1:15 p.m. The City of Cleveland  is prioritizing key routes including: E. 9th St., Ontario, Carnegie, Chester, Superior and W. 25th St.

11 a.m. 51 snow plows and 9 road graders working on the Cleveland's main streets. 

10: 54 a.m. Stow Mayor Sara Drew's Open Hours that were scheduled for this afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stow City Hall have been cancelled. 

10:37 a.m.  Beachwood has every truck out working to keep the streets safe for drivers.  At this time, all main roads are clean and wet.  The City currently has 18 trucks and staff working 24 hours a day plowing and salting the streets. While snow continues to fall, the City of Beachwood will continue to circle back to maintain road safety with ample salt to last throughout the weekend.

9:04 a.m. Parma Heights food pantry closed Wednesday. 

8:58 a.m. RTA busses are experiencing delays, however all trains are on time in all lanes.  

8:35 a.m. - Rocky River trash pickup stopped because of dangerous road conditions. Schools still open.

7:56 a.m. - 60+ flights canceled at Cleveland Hopkins. Handful at Akron Canton too.

5:06 a.m. - Wayne Co. declares LEVEL 2 snow emergency

5:04 a.m. - Lanes reopening on 80 WB, right lane still blocked at 71

4:51 a.m. - All westbound lanes closed on the turnpike between I-77 and I-71 as crews are try moving wrecked semi truck.

4:40 a.m. - 50 snow plows and 12 road graders working on the Cleveland's main streets.

10:54 p.m. A snow emergency has been declared in Brunswick Hills.

10:39 p.m. More parking bans:

10:07 p.m. Erie County has issued a Level 1 snow emergency.


8:52 p.m. Parking bans issued in Brooklyn, Newburgh Heights and Lorain until further notice and for Tallmadge until 8 a.m. Thursday.


8:24 p.m. Lorain County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 2 snow emergency.

Huron County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 1 snow emergency: 

6:41 p.m. A parking ban has been issued from midnight tonight until noon on Thursday in Stow.


6:20 p.m. Cleveland has dispatched 25 snow removal crews and plans to have 48 crews by 8 p.m. At 4 a.m., there will be 60 crews out to help service roads for the morning commute. City officials ask that drivers leave extra time for their drive and not block intersections after stoplights turn red. A parking ban is in effect from 11 p.m. tonight until further notice.


5:40 p.m. Rock salt shortage being called a "crisis" in many Northeast Ohio communities


5:19 p.m. Parking bans have been issued for Wadsworth beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Louisville beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday, both effective until further notice.


4:17 p.m. North Olmsted snow parking ban takes effect at 9 p.m. tonight and will continue until 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6.

Broadview Heights snow parking ban takes effect at 7 p.m. tonight and will continue until noon Thursday, Feb. 6.


4:12 p.m. Cuyahoga Falls has issued a citywide parking ban that will take effect starting at midnight tonight through 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and are subject to towing.


4:10 p.m. The City of Cleveland has declared a snow emergency parking ban that will take effect at 11 p.m. tonight and will continue until further notice. As a result, stopping, standing, and parking of vehicles will be restricted and prohibited on City streets with posted red and white signs.


4 p.m.: Lorain Common Pleas Courts are closed Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Seven Hills Police have issued a parking ban from 5 p.m. Tuesday until further notice.

There are currently four school closings or delays posted for Wednesday.

Akron Public Schools reminds parents that students already have Wednesday off for a teacher work day.
