EATON TWP., Ohio - The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 or EF-1 tornado touched down in Eaton Township during the storms from Monday evening.
The tornado touched down near Butternut Ridge Road along State Route 10 around 7:45 p.m.
Officials say the damage on the ground is consistent with tornado conditions.
A barn roof in the area was damaged due to the high winds.
From there, a path from the tornado was left through a field and caused partial damage to a house on the east side of S.R. 83 just north of Cooley Road.
The tornado was on the ground for an estimated 5400 feet.
