Forecast: Tracking our weekend showers along with much cooler air

Evening Update: Temperature will drop from the low 50s aftersunset into the 40s quickly. Expect widespread 30s by sunrise along with an slight chance for an isolated shower. After sunrise Sunday, temps wills tay on the chilly side as most of NE OH sticks in the upper 40s through the afternoon.
Along with the cooler temps, a quick shot of rain is likely through midday. Expect scattered rain after sunrise before everything races out of here through the middle part of the afternoon. Break out the umbrellas and rain gear for your outdoor Sunday activities.

Midday Update: Temperatures are staying cool despite the sunshine. Looks like afternoon highs will hold steady in the lower and middle 50s. Any rain showers will stay downwind of Lake Erie across mainly Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties. Break out the jackets and hoodies!
The cooler air sinking into Ohio this weekend will stick around into early next week. Temperatures all weekend will stay well below normal with highs today in the lower 50s. Some areas Sunday won't even make it out of the 40s! Along with the cooler air, we can't rule out a few isolated showers downwind from Lake Erie. With a west wind, that puts Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties in the path of few raindrops. Elsewhere, you can give the umbrella rest. 

Overnight, any showers over the lake will move inland as cooler air drops even farther south. Mixed in with the scattered showers will be an isolated snowflake or pellet but nothing will make it to the ground. Expect temps to drop into the middle and upper 30s by sunrise Sunday. 

Expect a chilly Sunday as showers linger into the afternoon but we will dry out. As the dry air pushes in, temps will drop even farther. Expect widespread frost Monday morning. Make sure you take care of your gardens before its too late!
