Forecast: Temperatures fall to the 30s by Monday night with light snow

Rain mixing with snow will continue through the overnight. Some spots, mainly away from the lake could see dusting up to an inch by Tuesday morning.

Light showers are mainly east of I-71, with light snow moving in west of I-71.

Colder air is moving in this afternoon as temps are falling into the 30s behind the front. Light rain will turn to light snow tonight. Accumulations will be light, with most spots just seeing a dusting by Tuesday morning. Some spots downwind of Lake Erie could see an inch or two by Tuesday noon.

Update: Temperatures hit the mid-50s early this morning. Behind a cold front, we've already dropped 15 degrees.

Prepare for drizzle and chilly temperatures this evening. As temperatures drop close to freezing, scattered snow showers are likely after 6 p.m. Expect little to no accumulation.

Overnight, up to 1/2" is possible on grassy surfaces.
A strong cold front is crossing Ohio this morning. Expect mild temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s, followed by a sharp cool down this afternoon.

By noon, temperatures will drop to 40 degrees. This evening, temperatures will hover in the mid-30s.

Scattered rain showers are possible today. As colder air arrives, rain showers will change to snow showers after 9 p.m. Coverage will be scattered, with minor accumulations possible on the grass.

Overnight, lows will drop to the upper 20s. A few lake effect bands will develop, mainly over Ashtabula and Trumbull Counties. An inch of accumulation is possible in those areas through early Tuesday.

Tuesday's highs will hit the mid-30s. Expect slow clearing by evening in some areas.

As high pressure builds in Wednesday and Thursday, sunshine returns, along with highs in the 40s. Dry weather is in the forecast Wednesday-Friday.
