We'll see clouds thicken a bit tonight as a cold front slides towards us. Lows will drop into the upper 20s. Light snow is likely NE of CLE overnight and into the day tomorrow. I don't expect more than a trace up to an inch.
After a warm up Friday and Saturday (highs in the 40s Sat), we are still tracking very cold air Sunday and into next week. Highs may only reach into the teens Monday - Wednesday.
Update: Clouds are hanging tough and will continue to linger into the afternoon. Previous forecast hinted at more sunshine but the clouds will be stubborn today. That will also keep temps a bit cooler than previously thought also. Expect high to top out in the middle 30s to near 37º. The clouds will thicken overnight and lead to light snow showers early Thursday morning. Be sure to tune in to Good Morning Cleveland Thursday morning to get the latest info on road conditions as you head back to work and school.
Low pressure moving across Virginia will keep clouds in the forecast this morning. Although rain and snow showers have been reported in Southern Ohio, Northeast Ohio is dry. If you're traveling through western or central Pennsylvania, expect slick roads and mountain snow.
As low pressure moves east this afternoon, look for gradual clearing after lunchtime. High temperatures will hit the upper 30s.
Clouds return tonight as a clipper moves across the Great Lakes. Light non-disruptive snow is possible for the morning commute Thursday. A few snow showers may linger into Thursday afternoon with cooler highs near 30 degrees.
Friday and Saturday will be dry and mostly cloudy. Highs will jump to 40 degrees Saturday, the warmest day of the week.
Get ready for the Arctic blast Sunday! A strong cold front will arrive early, bringing a chance of snow showers. Highs will only reach the upper 20s.
Highs will struggle to reach 20 degrees Monday and 16 degrees Tuesday. Low temperatures will be in the teens and single digits Monday night and Tuesday night. We'll be tracking the cold closely!
