Forecast: Flurries ending Tuesday, sunshine returns Wednesday through Friday

Sunshine will return Wednesday with temps staying chilly. Expect highs only near 40.

Snow flurries are begin to wind down across the east. We may still see some leftover flakes, but clearing skies are working in. Lows tonight will drop into the upper 20s and low 30s.

Update: Scattered flurries are still being reported with little to no accumulation on the grass.

As high pressure builds in from the west, flurries will end over the next several hours. Some areas are reporting breaks of sun, especially south and west of Cleveland. Look for gradual clearing by evening.

Patchy flurries are moving across Northeast Ohio this morning. Watch out for icy spots on driveways, sidewalks and other untreated surfaces as temperatures hang around 32 degrees.

Clouds will hang tough today, but flurries will gradually taper off by noon. Highs will hover near 37 degrees. 

High pressure builds in from the west overnight, helping to clear the sky. Overnight lows will be cool in the upper 20s. 

Sunshine is in the forecast Wednesday through Friday as high pressure gradually moves east. Highs will climb from 40 degrees Wednesday to 46 degrees by Friday.

Low pressure will quickly sweep in from the west Saturday afternoon. Expect an increasing chance of rain by Saturday evening.

Rain and snow showers are possible Sunday as cooler air arrives. A few lake effect snow showers will linger Monday.
