CLEVELAND - 4:00 pm Update: Skies have clouded up across Northern Ohio as expected this afternoon as a low pressure storm system passes east through the Tennessee Valley. The nearest precipitation is some light snow in Southern Ohio. Temperatures are cold...right around 30 degrees. You will need your winter coats going out this evening.
A fast moving cold front will slide into Ohio late on Valentine's Day. Ahead of the system, temperatures should go up into the lower 40s. Precipitation should hold off until the afternoon rush hour. When it does arrive, it will be a mix of light rain and light snow. Roads will get a little slick as you begin your evening excursions.
Update: A southern storm will bring increasing clouds to our southern counties. In fact, some spots may even see a flurry or some drizzler through the early afternoon, mainly south of US30.
Update: A mix of sun and clouds expected through the afternoon. The farther north and closer to the lake, the more sunshine you'll see. Expect highs in the upper 30s, definitely coat weather. Our next chance of rain arrives Thursday evening.

Morning temperatures are in the upper 20s under mostly cloudy skies. Look for a few breaks in the clouds today with highs near 38 degrees. Winds will be light compared to the past few days.
Quiet conditions continue overnight with lows in the upper 20s.
Valentine's Day will be the warmest day of the week. High temperatures will jump to the mid-40s, thanks to warm winds from the south. A clipper will cross the Midwest in the evening, bringing a chance of rain showers from west to east after 5 p.m.
As a cold front passes early Friday, temperatures will fall to the mid-30s. Expect scattered snow showers Friday and Saturday as cold air moves across the warm lakes. Accumulating snow is likely, especially in the Snowbelt.
Weekend temperatures will hit the mid-20s with lows in the teens.
