Freeze Warning in effect for the counties along the lake. Temperatures overnight will drop to freezing across most areas.

Update: Temps are falling off in the 40s and even upper 30s and the sun goes down. I expect that trend to continue into the overnight.

Update: Temperatures have stopped their climb in the lower 50s this afternoon. Expect the wind to relax this evening as our sky clears out. Temperatures will drop quickly after sunset, grab the coats and maybe even a blanket if you're heading to this evening's football games.

Update: Sunshine is taking over late this morning as our cold front pushes south. Other than an isolated rain shower east of I-77, expect a dry and mild Friday afternoon with highs near 50.

A cold front moved through Northeast Ohio overnight, triggering patchy light rain. The sky will gradually clear from north to south this morning as high pressure builds across the Great Lakes.

I can't rule out isolated lake effect showers east of Cleveland this afternoon, but most areas will be dry and mostly sunny. High temperatures will be cooler today, near 50 degrees.

Expect clear and chilly weather for Friday night football games. 7 p.m. temperatures will be near 47 degrees with low 40s as games end.

A Freeze Watch is in effect tonight for counties bordering the lake. Temperatures will drop to near freezing overnight through early Saturday across Northeast Ohio. Protect potted plants and tender vegetation!

After a clear, chilly start Saturday, expect increasing clouds by evening. A warm front will produce scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms late Saturday evening, mainly along the lake. HIgh temperatures will hit the mid-60s.

A cold front follows Sunday evening, bringing our next chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will soar to the low-to-mid 70s ahead of the front!
