RUNOFF FROM RECENT RAINFALL AND SNOW MELT WILL COMBINE WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF THROUGH SUNDAY TO INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING TO OCCUR. * LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ARE ALREADY EXPERIENCING HIGH WATER IN MANY PLACES. HEAVY RAIN IS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY EVENING. FLOODING MAY DEVELOP IN LOW-LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS AND EVENTUALLY SPREAD INTO LARGER CREEKS AND RIVERS. RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES NEAR WATERWAYS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR RISING WATER THROUGH THE DAY ON SUNDAY.

A cold front will swing through Ohio bringing heavy rain. The heavy rain in addition to the snowmelt and the already soaked ground will cause flooding across much of Ohio. We'll start Sunday rainy and in the 50s with a gradual drop throughout the day. We'll end the weekend in the 30s!
The cold air settles back into Ohio for much of the workweek with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s until late next week. Even colder air rushes in from the north dropping temps even more. We'll likely end January with temperatures reaching into the negatives! Likely the coldest air we've seen in years!
